Overview
Gbenga is a Senior Associate and a Head of Department at the firm, he has more than 10 years of Post Qualification Experience in core commercial law practice.
His experience spans insolvency practice bordering on receivership exercise and proceedings, bankruptcy and winding-up proceedings, security registrations and enforcement and the recovery of default obligations, amongst others.
Gbenga has led a team of lawyers in several hydra-headed proceedings towards the recovery of huge obligations at the instance of several banks as well as the recovery of Sovereign Debt Notes (SDN) in Nigeria.
Upon joining the firm, he has been engaged in a number of admiralty proceedings bordering on arrest and release of the vessel, collision, vessel acquisitions and sale, amongst others.
